Out of state isn't that difficult in my opinion. My sat was 2000 and gpa 3.4. I had a few extracurriculars, nothing too impressive. Demonstrate your interest (for example they ask you if UD is your number one choice on the common app supplement) and you are likely to be accepted. If you are in state, your standards are much lower, as their "Commitment to Delawareans" gives you exactly what courses you need to take in high school as well as what grades you need to get, and a goal to have you graduate with 1/4th of the total cost of attendance for four years. In state students have it made essentially. Out of state is definitely in reach if you're not a complete screw up.

It is not hard to get into UDel. I figure most reject NJ students and PA students end up there. The Leadership Program is a joke. Just a program for those students who couldn't get into the Honors College. But, it makes them feel better.
